Our class, hard at work!
I enjoy seeing my class use their talents and energy each way. I have such a great group of kids! I hope that you are enjoying your school year at Mountain View as much as I am.
Get to know Mr. Wiltse:
I grew up on a farm in northeast Nebraska, where I spent a lot of my time playing all kinds of sports. As you can probably guess I am a big University of Nebraska Cornhuskers fan.
I attended Concordia University in Seward, NE, where I earned my B.S. in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics and a coaching endorsement. I taught for one year in Nebraska before God led me to Mountain View in 2001. All of my teaching career has been in 3rd grade, although I currently coach the 4th/5th girls’ basketball teams here, and have coached at the high school level as well. It has been a lot of fun getting to know all the wonderful families that make our school such a great place.
I also am an avid runner and have run 5 marathons in the last 2 years. I am hoping to run another couple of marathons this school year.
Running has taken me across the globe and I always enjoy getting to travel to different regions for races. It is a great activity that has helped keep me sane and fit, as well as given me memories and friends that I’ll never forget.

I am looking forward to this school year and getting to know my students and their families better. I think that MVLS offers a lot of exciting ministries and it is always a pleasure to see the students grow in faith, stature, and knowledge.
I have a dog named Roxi. She is a puggle (pug and beagle mix) and is about 2 years old.
